The diaphragm becomes restricted.
The body loses some of its natural fluidity and freedom.
And slowly, we become disconnected from ourselves.

Emotions are not just mental experiences. They are physiological experiences. Every emotion has a breath pattern.
Fear changes the breath.

Grief changes the breath.

Anger changes the breath.

Over time, unprocessed emotions can become patterns within the body.Not because the body is broken.
But because there is a saying that body remembers.
The body learns.
The body protects.
This is why breathwork is a medicine.
